The Mondo Alto offers a versatile listening experience, providing multiple options to enjoy your audio. You can access content through the built-in apps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Chromecast, UPnP media servers, or a USB thumb drive. The device offers access to over 100,000 Internet AM/FM/HD radio stations. The built-in apps include iHeartRadio, Audacity, BBC, NPR, SiriusXM (subscription sold separately by SiriusXM), Amazon Music (Prime and Unlimited, HD not supported), Pandora, Podcast, Sleep Sounds, Calm Radio, Shoutcast, and Live365.

In addition to the extensive built-in options, the Mondo Alto allows you to play any audio via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi from any Chromecast-enabled app on your smartphone or computer. You can control the music using the front panel, the included IR remote control, or free remote-control apps on your smartphone.

For a multi-room audio experience, you can group multiple Mondo Alto units together. Additionally, you can group the Mondo Alto with any Chromecast-enabled device and even control it using any Google Assistant-enabled device in your home or office. It's important to note that for privacy reasons, the Mondo Alto does not have a microphone.

The device features a 12- or 24-hour clock and up to 7 individual escalating volume alarms. You can wake up to one of 8 buzzer options, any of your 100 station presets, or a USB thumb drive. The Mondo Alto also offers customizable Sleep and Snooze timers, 30 daytime and nighttime backlight settings, and a choice between a large blue or red clock display. Additionally, you can personalize your sound via the built-in 5-band equalizer.
